Here’s how you can ensure your home is easily identifiable:
Sign Mounted: Install your address sign between 4 and 7 feet above ground level.
Visible Numerals: Make sure numerals are visible to vehicles coming from
both directions. Emergency vehicles may not arrive from the same direction.
Reflective Surface: Use a reflective sign surface with contrasting colors for the numerals.
Numeral Size: Ensure numerals are at least 3 inches tall.
Proper Placement: Place the sign on the same side of the road as the house.
Proximity: Keep the sign no more than 5 feet from the edge of the roadway.
Clear Surroundings: Maintain the area around the sign, keeping it free of weeds, snow, and debris.
